My WiFi sensor is only sending data intermittently and missing scheduled connections. What should I do?

On the App's main dashboard, check the received signal strength (RSSI) of your TankMate unit (last known connection). 


Common causes of intermittent data transmission include weak WiFi signal strength and obstructions between the router and the tank (e.g., overgrown foliage). Refer to the troubleshooting suggestions in the User Guide for further assistance.


In some cases, increasing the reading frequency of the sensor can help with intermittent data issues. Set the sensor to read more frequently - every 2 / 4 hours. This can be adjusted in the mobile app under Settings > Sensor/Tank Settings > Update Frequency. More frequent readings increase accuracy but reduce battery life.
