How do I clear / delete sensor readings?

You can clear/delete old sensor reading data through our web portal, and should be done on a laptop/PC.

You can find a link to the web portal in the TankMate online option in the top menu of our website, or click here.

You will need to use the same email and password that you use for the TankMate App to log into the portal.

Once logged in, click on the Settings menu on the left hand side. Select the sensor you want to clear the readings from in the drop-down box, and ensure that the Tank Name and Device ID correspond with the correct sensor.

Then click on the green DELETE SENSOR DATA button.

You can choose to either delete All data for this sensor, or Only data before date (you will need to specify a date in the box). Once you've made your selection, click the green OK button and confirm you want to proceed.

NOTE: Deleting sensor data is irreversible, and the old readings cannot be recovered or restored.
