When this happens, the tank dimensions have usually been saved incorrectly by the App.
The best way to rectify this is by overwriting the tank dimensions by changing them slightly, saving the settings, then changing them back and saving again in the App.
You can do this by going to Settings > Sensor / Tank Settings, select the sensor you want to correct from the drop-down list at the top, then click the little drop-down arrow directly underneath the Total Usable Volume value to expand the grey settings area below.
There are 3 options to choose from: Tank Volume, Diameter or L x W. Only one option is active at any one time.
To overwrite the settings:
Change the blue selection/radio button to another option (any other option will do), and click the green Save Settings button at the top of the page. This should overwrite the current settings. (Don't worry about any usable volume figure at this stage.)
Then change the blue selection/radio button back to your original option choice, ensuring the numerical values are correct, and click the green Save Settings button again.
This should dynamically change the Total Usable Volume value as you make these changes, and you can use these updated values to guide you and confirm you are doing it correctly. If you've done it successfully, the new Total Usable Volume value should now be a value you expect for your tank.
NOTES:
For cylindrical tanks, you can choose to use either the specified Tank Volume, where you enter a numerical value in Litres, or the diameter of the tank. Both will provide the same result in calculation.
Also, the reported usable volume in the tank is often less than the full tank capacity, as the outlet valve is not normally located directly at the base, so there is usually some unusable section at the bottom of the tank for settlement etc. This very bottom section of the tank is not included in the TankMate volume calculations.
