No, you are not able to force/manually take a reading remotely from the TankMate App.
The sensor goes into deep sleep mode between readings, and the App has no way of waking the sensor remotely as it is not online.
So if you want to manually force it to wake up and take a reading, you need to push the button on the underside of the unit, or use the magnet on the side.
